In 2020, half of the world has made a shift from offices to home. From technical arrangements to non-technical arrangements, every employee and boss had to make changes to make a workplace where they are not interrupted by other family members. They had to make arrangements such as getting a table to put their laptops on or a comfortable chair to sit on while working the entire day.

For many, we’ve never used the program before now, and that means that it can be a little confusing, especially when some of the functions sound so similar. Zoom went from being something that was less than main stream, to being a mandatory part of our life. We’re still learning about Zoom and all that it has to offer... and I would like to take a moment to share with you something that I’ve only recently discovered.

Zoom and Zoom Room. What’s the difference?

A Zoom Room is an add-on upgrade to a regular Zoom Pro, Business, or Enterprise account. I’ve done a lot of experimenting with various Zoom Room’s over the last few months, and I’ve found that the SOLOS Zoom Room is one of the best out there. It comes it’s own DTEN, and it also comes with a 4k camera and a smart speakerphone. The audio visual equipment is built directly into the SOLOS Zoom Room, making it a huge step up from the basic offerings available through the main Zoom platform.

It also comes with a series of accessories for the conference room. That means no matter your skill level with Zoom, or with electronics as a whole, the SOLOS Zoom Room is one that you’ll be able to figure out with little problem. And if something about the SOLOS Zoom Room does leave you a little bit confused, the customer service team at SOLOS is available to help you figure out the problem and create a more reliable set of communication for you. That added help can really make a difference during crunch time!

In these trying times, reliable communication is something that’s invaluable. Zoom Rooms can also function as a large conference hall for a specific group of people that means the SOLOS Zoom Room is pretty much invaluable when it comes to hosting video collaborations. It’s one of the greatest advancements in audio visual equipment in recent years. If your job requires you to frequently use Zoom in the home office, then investing in a Zoom Room is going to make your life miles easier.

The circumstances that brought us into working from home offices might not be the most ideal, but that doesn’t mean we have to just sit down and accept a squalid and difficult to use work environment. We can make our computer set up just as ergonomic as we can the furniture we’re using. Now, you’re ready to take your business to the next level.
